Reza Salari,

Director, Business Information Security Officer, Pacific Life Re

Based in London, Reza is responsible for a global security program that spans 9 countries. Reza has been in the cyber security field for 18 years having started in the United States Air Force. He spent 13 years in the defense industry including 3 years in Italy and 5 years in Germany before moving into the insurance industry. He is an expert in security strategy and training & awareness. Reza holds an MBA from University of California, Irvine and a MS in Computer Information Systems Security from Boston University.

Julianne Callaway,

Vice President and Actuary, Strategic Research for RGA’s Global Actuarial Pricing and Research (GAPR) team

Julianne Callaway researches emerging areas of interest to the insurance industry. Her insights on wellness, wearable technology, genetics and areas of strategic research informs innovative business strategy and is shared with clients in presentations, white papers and articles.

Julianne joined RGA in 2013 as an Assistant Actuary in Global Research and Data Analytics, where she oversaw research development for the department. Later Julianne was the research lead for RGAX, the wholly-owned innovation incubator subsidiary of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, for two years where she developed economic models for business concepts and market intelligence in support of innovative business initiatives.

Julianne has Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees, both in economics, from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries (FSA), an Associate in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS), and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). A prolific author, she has written and published several articles and white papers on a broad range of insurance topics. She is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and is currently a member of the Society of Actuaries’ General Insurance Research Committee.

Kevin Glasgow,

Vice President with Diligence International Group

Kevin has been in the insurance industry for over 35 years leading claim teams with both major direct and reinsurance companies such as GE, Swiss Re, and Munich Re. He is currently a Vice President with Diligence International Group, a leading investigation company for the financial services industry, where he is responsible for developing investigation solutions and education material for the industry. While with reinsurance companies, Kevin was responsible for overseeing the payment of claims totaling over $2.5 billion a year. He also worked with direct companies to educate on trends, best practices, and ways to prevent and detect fraud. Kevin has been published in West Law along with other publications and has been a frequent speaker within the United States and other countries on claim practices and insurance fraud. Within the industry, he is the Past President of the International Claims Association and Board Member of the Eastern Claim Conference. He currently holds the designations of ARA, ACS, FLMI, FLHC, CLU®, and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner). Academically, Kevin earned his BBA from Roanoke College, and his MBA from Radford University.

Dennis comes to RGAX with more than two decades of experience as an entrepreneur and innovator in insurance direct marketing. His company, Marketing Direct, Inc. (MDI), an integrated healthcare marketing services company which he founded in 1997, was acquired in 2010 by WPP, the world’s largest provider of marketing and communication services. There, he was President of Wunderman St. Louis and Chief Client Officer of Wunderman Health, a digital agency for life insurance, pharmaceutical, medical devices and other health and wellness verticals.
