Biography: Yvonne has worked within the insurance industry for the last 20 years.

Yvonne started her career as an Insurance Advisor with SunLife and later Manulife focusing on Life, Health, CI and DI products. After 4 years in Sales, she transitioned to the New Business department at Manulife where she quickly became a part of the management team focusing on administration and back office support. Thereafter, Yvonne started with Pacific Life in the US where she led the New Business and Contract Administration team focusing on Structured Settlements, Retirement Annuities before returning to Canada to join Pacific Life Re in 2017 as an Operations Manager and was later promoted in 2020 to the role of Training Manager where she is responsible for the training and development of new and existing staff focusing on the fundamentals of reinsurance administration.

Yvonne has been involved with RAPA since she joined Pacific Life Re in 2017 where she has participated in many different initiatives including education, innovation and later taking on the role as Membership Chair. Yvonne is excited about the newest opportunity to fill a seat on the Board of Governors with RAPA as she takes on her newest role of Secretary.
